Wordpress

I've been working trying to build my own wordpress.org site to switch it from Wordpress.com but I've hit a big wall from the starting point. I've tried to customize a theme to install it but I barely understand anything.

Anybody good with it ?

I've got some experience with it, I've done a few sites with it. What do you need help with?

I want to change it's whole look and add more options, possibly a video section, etc.

But my knowledge in CSS is weak at best, and I don't understand anything about how to edit the theme that I found.

You'll need to know some basic PHP, and definitely CSS in order to do major changes.

Like I said, I'm happy to help, but I'm not sure I can squeeze a full site in right now, haha. Don't have that much time on my hands.

I would check out http://www.wptavern.com/ or check out studiopress.com. Studiopress has a bunch of themes that are awesome. I use wordpress on all but 3 sites.
