Screw class, real fans would go to the game anyway. Either way, what's so hard about going to the game, getting home around say 11pm, getting to bed by midnight, and then getting 6 hours of sleep before you have to get up and drive to school? More importantly, WHY do you commute to school 3 hours away?! How many days a week do you do that??
I live at school three hours away as well. If it doesn't go to OT I wouldn't be back until 1AM at the very earliest and that's if I left straight from the arena. I'm thinking I might hold out for Game 6 (which is a sunday afternoon) instead.
Also, I have a term paper due for that 9AM on Wednesday that I have yet to start on.
Believe me, I'd go if I could but it's not like I've never been to a playoff game before.
He wouldn't be home until about 1am. Still I support your argument.
Why? He said he lives 3 hours from his school, he never said how far he lived from the arena. I was just guessing that maybe he lives an hour away, so if the game ended around 10 30pm, he could get back around 11 30. That's usually what happens when I go to Bolts games.

Good game so far. Devils can't afford to take penalties anymore, but need to stay aggressive and put the pressure on. Controlling the puck and forcing turnovers, and not turning the puck over themselves has been what's working for them.

Wow, I was getting really uncomfortable watching the Devils in OT - I didn't see how the way they were letting the Canes camp in their end they could win.
I underestimate the Devils very often, but they came through today. Finally, that OT loss streak against the Canes is OVER.
