I made some update (facepacks, cybercafaces, jerseys and icepack 2x) and the game runs perfectly except for one thing: it crashes when there is Los Angeles as one of the 2 teams (it doesn't matter if is home or away), and it crashes in every game mode (exhibition, dynasty or season), independently if LA is my team or my opponent, but I can use Kings' players in shootouts, FreeForAll, and National teams.
Any idea on what the problem could be?
Thanks
I have the same exact problem. Its 100% the rosters. Theres a handful of teams for me as well that crash. Doesnt matter home or away. And I did a fresh install a couple days ago because of a different problem and step by step i checked (DRutkas jerseys, coach pack, CF ice 2x, arena updates and boards (mostly from DT and Flux), grafixers glass (and then TH's glass), super goalie pack2....everything running fine, fine, fine. Then I spent like 5 hours updating an october release of BHV rosters (cuz nobody updates them anymore) and made it completely up to date with trades, injuries, lines, minors, etc. Its definitley and NHLView-Roster problem and I've been asking around and searching and doing a lot of research myself (before I reinstall db.viv and roster files and spend another 5 hours updating to try again). And I know its the not actual October roster update because I never had a problem with it before and also using it in NHLView. Any advice will be well taken, thank you!!
Well it's different now since I just installed a new roster, but I didn't change the rosters at all before the new installation after I made my dynasty.
that is why it is crashing. Both rosters need to be the same in regards who how many players are in the rosters. Even one player difference can **** up the dynasty
whilst installing the new Bridgeport 09/10 add-on, my computer crashed. once rebooted, I tried to re-install the add-on, then ran BHImport09. My game now crashes when trying to start a new game (play now, etc.) Having looked back at what is says when I run BHImport, it says
"error: preload\gmisc.viv has a invalid header" and
"error: Can't open fe\loadscr.bh for reading" on some of the lines
