Wow we got some real talent here.
I love McD's transformers they look really professional. Wingfan's stuff is really awesome too, and I can't wait to see some of your new work as well. Shadow's stuff is really pro looking too.

I have a lot more respect for Wingman and Shadow's work, just because they pretty much always have to manage polys and such, while I just use as many as I can to get lucky in trying to make certain objects. I'm all about self teaching, but I think I probably would have benefited a bit more from learning properly

I agree, they know more about the software etc. But if you just took a 3D class or something or maybe try Lynda.com you could do it much better.

I work in 3D for a living... Not to the tune of this thread, but if some of you want to see my work I will post up some stuffs. I work in Autocad, where the models I build within it are spec'd out to be built in real life. There is no texturing so they are really just black and white line drawings if I had to call them something.

I did that test a while ago. It was my first animation, so it's pretty rough. Need to finish modeling before I animate again.
