BLOG: Wait, you wanted Pittsburgh!?

God damn it's been awhile since I've spoken to you guys and I apologize. Working two jobs isn't the best way to keep a blog going, but hey, that's life right. For some reason, I'm in a really bad mood on this beautiful Friday and it's being heightened by the fact that for days I've read/heard that Bruins fans are upset that the Bruins aren't playing Pittsburgh in round 2 of the playoffs.

Are you ****ing serious here?

You're upset that the Bruins aren't playing the best team in the East? I don't know where the black and gold Kool-Aid is being distributed, but can I please have some? This vocal idiocy that spews from the back of the covered bandwagon makes me want to violently throw-up all over myself.

Why the hell would anyone want to face the Pens? What would that prove? "Oh, we'll finally get revenge on Matt Cooke for the hit he laid on Savard!!!"

Really?

REALLY!?

Look, it is time for Boston fans to put the Matt Cooke hit to bed. In fact, give it a bottle of apple juice, read it a bed time story (hopefully Goodnight Moon in a nice Christopher Walken impression)

Ah, but as usual I'm getting away from the real problem. Once that Matt Cooke hit is softly snuggled in bed, smother it with a pillow because IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON PEOPLE. I know some of you are still upset and think that by playing Pittsburgh, Shawn Thornton is going to walk out of the tunnel is a Superman outfit and give Cooke a Kryptonite Krunch or whatever the hell Superman would use as a finishing move in the WWE. I know you think the Ghost of Steve Begin would actually turn into the Begin-prick we all had to deal with in Montreal, but NONE OF THIS WOULD HAPPEN!

Instead, the sixth seed Bruins get home ice throughout the second round against a very beatable opponent in Philadelphia. If the Bruins had to play Pittsburgh, I would give it to Crosby and company in 5.

You know how we should get revenge on Matt Cooke...by sending them to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jesus Christ some of you need to be thrown off of the bandwagon while it travels at high speeds.
